Belated Sunday Meditation

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (RSV)
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,

whose trust is the Lord. 

He is like a tree planted by water,

that sends out its roots by the stream,

and does not fear when heat comes,

for its leaves remain green,

and is not anxious in the year of drought,

for it does not cease to bear fruit." 

Heavenly Father,

 
Let me feel the refreshing and healing sensation of your living water given so lovingly through your son. Let me focus on you and trust in you so all anxiety will be put aside. I know you are in control, and all things are in your hands for good for those who love you. May I continue to abide in your love and bear fruit to your name. Help me Lord to remain strong in faith.  Asking all things through your son,
